What machine do I need?

When considering which plant you need, consider the task, access & working space.

​

Is the access narrow, low or on a gradient? Are there steps or do you need our help to traverse through a building?

​

Hire | Operator | Civils
Which do I need?

Plant Hire: Machine hire only - operated by you

​

Operated Plant Hire: Machine & Driver hired for additional labour cost. Often more efficient and cost effective 

​

Civils Contracting: We will complete the entire task on your behalf, selecting the correct materials, plant & labour for a fixed price. Alleviate yourself of stress & sit back watching us work on your behalf

Q.

How do I pay?

We are a cashless business.

​

On booking, we will send you an invoice with your hire agreement, offering options for card and BACS (Bank Transfer) payments.

​

All invoices must be paid in full prior to hire.

Q.

Do I need insurance?

Recommended.

​

Hirers are responsible for loss & damage of plant from delivery until collection, but don't let this deter you.

​

Whilst some business may have hired in plant insurance, we strongly recommend you ensure this is covered by your policy.

​

Private hires can use the links on our website to take out hirer's insurance for the duration of the hire. All necessary details are provided on booking.

​

Alternatively, Operated hire is covered by our insurance policy, relieving you from worry.

Q.

What happens about fuel?

All machines are delivered with full tanks of fuel. Simply refill the machine with the correct fuel prior to collection. Fuel types are displayed on each machine for your convenience

 

Most plant operates on the same white diesel we use in our cars. (No red diesel)

Failure to replace fuel will incur charges, so please discuss with our team if in doubt.

Q.

Can I drive without experience?

Yes. We offer complimentary familiarisation with every hire. Ask our team for more information.

​

Most machines are intuitive and given a little practice, we're sure you'll not only get the hang of it, but enjoy the experience too.

​

Smaller machines are more forgiving for novices, but larger machines typically more stable. 

​

Do you delivery?

Delivery only.

 

All our plant is delivered to your chosen address, for a small charge.

​

This enables us to support you with familiarisation and maneuvering plant onto site.

​

Q.

What happens if the machine breaks down?

We have an almost entirely brand new fleet of the best plant & machinery available to us from reputable brands.

​

This allows us to provide market leading levels of reliability & performance.

​

But we're realistic too & know things can go wrong. Therefore, we work closely with our suppliers & maintenance contractors to ensure support is available at all reasonable times.

​

Simply call our team as soon as an issue becomes apparent, and our reaction time are second to none, keeping your project on track.

The machine was great...delivery was brilliant, quick and caused  no disruption to the various activities on going around the commercial site....
